From Hollywood to high-rises, David Lauer captures architecture and design with a cinematic eye. After a successful film career, including the role of Co-Visual Effects Supervisor for the Oscar-winning "Life of Pi," Lauer’s love of architecture in Los Angeles compelled him to pivot to architectural photography and he hasn’t looked back. He now resides in Denver, Colorado, bringing his artistic talents to document the city's vibrant growth. Lauer’s style fuses technical mastery of light and color with impactful perspectives. His work often activates spaces with people, creating engaging narratives on how spaces are used. These qualities create images that consistently position his clients to win architectural and design awards year after year. Lauer’s work can also be seen in a multitude of leading design magazines including Dwell and Architectural Digest and books from Thames & Hudson and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
